Having said that, I find that I have to compare prices each month – Checkers, Shoprite, Pick ‘n’Pay, etc – because the prices vary and so do the specials each month. I buy veggies at a greengrocers (similar to Fruit n Veg) and not a supermarket, which is the cheapest option in our area. I’m not sure about which shop would be the best for organic veggies though as we don’t normally look specifically for organic veggies to buy.
