Frugal in SA is in October’s (2017) ‘green’ issue of Living Space Magazine! The article Penny Wise by Ciska Thurman on page 44-45 talks about living sustainably without breaking the bank.
I was super excited when I was contacted by Ciska for comments for the Penny Wise article a while back. Striving to be less wasteful, reusing and repurposing items whenever possible, and living as economically and frugally as I can, is very much close to my heart. At the same time, it’s very encouraging for me as a blogger to see Frugal in SA mentioned in print again.
In the Frugal Tip of the Day series on my blog I share with you some simple ideas for repurposing and reusing a variety of household items in an effort to help reduce waste and save money at the same time. I am continually adding to this series on my blog so be sure to check back often.
In the meantime, the October 2017 issue of Living Space Magazine is on the shelves now, and it costs only R19.00 so you definitely won’t be breaking the bank there. I have just bought my own copy, to keep of course, but I’m also really enjoying reading the tips and ideas for repurposing items around your home and living more sustainably.
There are a couple of inexpensive, healthy recipes, made with seasonal produce, that look so delicious too, and I’m definitely looking forward to trying my hand at those soon!
